Update v0.3


General
  • Added a new Boss: the Squirming Mass.
  • Added a “bosses defeated” tracker on Ending the Game.
  • Added two new T1 Rooms.
  • Boss Fights are now every 5th room, instead of every 7th.
  • Random Room Selection has been updated to make T1 Rooms more frequent.
  • Added a setting to toggle mouse cursor visibility.

Bosses
  • Added a Hole in Boss Room, allowing you to continue to descend and essentially play endlessly.
  • Defeating a Boss now increases the game’s Difficulty, which currently increases the HP of all enemies (+1 for normal enemies, +25% for bosses).
  • Boss Fights are now randomly chosen, with repeats only occurring once all bosses have been defeated.
  • Bosses now drop Boss Corpses, which grants 2 Bones and fully heals the Player.
  • Tomb Tapper’s MaxHP is now 80 (from 100).
  • Tomb Tapper is now slowed after hitting Player for 1 sec.

Upgrades & Abilities
  • Certain abilities (like Bristles and Gorge) now stack properly, and have a maximum quantity of stacks that you can have at any time.
  • Abilities you have with max stacks will no longer spawn as future upgrades.

Merchant
  • When an upgrade is now purchased, the price tag will disappear.
  • When all upgrades are purchased, the Merchant now disappears.
  • Increased the bonus chance the Merchant spawns after not spawning previous level to 15% (from 10%).

Bug Fixes
  • Fixed a bug where getting an upgrade would sometimes drop another random upgrade.
  • Fixed a bug where instead of being sent to 1 of X random rooms, you’d be sent to 1 of 2 random rooms. This fix essentially increases the variety of rooms you encounter each run.
  • Fixed some variables not being reset properly after dying.
